Gate 1: Real, Shippable Product
A product must be a genuine, currently shippable item from a real manufacturer, not a listing created by AI-generated content farms or drop-shipping arbitrage accounts. We confirm the product has a legitimate ASIN, a real product page with manufacturer-supplied images and a fulfillment method that delivers an actual physical unit. Listings that appear to be duplicates, counterfeits or placeholder ASINs are excluded regardless of their listed price or apparent rating.
Gate 2: Verified Buyer Demand
A product must show confirmed, real buyer activity. We check the number of verified purchaser reviews and the reported buyer volume for the listing. Products that have very few reviews or negligible sales activity are excluded because there is not enough real-world feedback to support a reliable ranking position. High demand from actual buyers is evidence that the product delivers on its basic promises at scale, which is more useful to shoppers than a small sample of early reviews.
Gate 3: Rating of 3.8 Stars or Higher
A product must carry a rating of at least 3.8 out of 5 stars based on a meaningful number of verified purchaser reviews. This threshold filters out products where a significant portion of buyers report disappointment with build quality, performance or durability. Products below 3.8 stars often show patterns of recurring complaints that are unlikely to be resolved at the current price point. We do not adjust this threshold up or down based on price or brand size.
Gate 4: Verified Brand and Ranking
A product must be sold under a brand that has a verifiable, legitimate presence, such as a real company with a traceable history, a manufacturer website or a recognized distribution channel. This gate removes white-label products sold under invented brand names with no accountable manufacturer behind them. Products that clear all four gates are then sorted by a combined score of rating, verified review count, buyer demand and price, with the most practical, well-supported options ranked highest. Rankings are reviewed and updated when demand or rating data shifts enough to change the order.
